CAE is recognised and required by universities, employers and governments worldwide.

It is focused on Level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

IELTS is an international standardised test of English language proficiency. No minimum score is required to pass the test. It measures your level of English from A1-C2.

IELTS is required if you apply for jobs or university courses where English is used as the language of communication. It is also used for immigration purposes and for professional accreditation.

IELTS is recognised by universities, employers, professional bodies, immigration authorities and other government agencies in many countries.

In the IELTS exam preparation training, you will receive focussed training in exam strategies and techniques that will allow you to maximise your potential and achieve the best grade possible. The training can be combined with General English language training.

Keep in mind that the test certificate expires after two years unlike the Cambridge exams which have no expiry date.
